PARK INFORMATION
7 DAYS A WEEK: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
SUMMER HOURS: 8.30am – 8.00pm Labour Day (Late October) to after Daylight Savings, unless announced differently
WINTER HOURS: 8.30am – 5.00pm After Daylight Savings to Labour Day (Late October)

We seek your cooperation with the following policies. They are to ensure your stay and the stay of all other guests is as enjoyable as possible.
ALCOHOL:
CHECK - IN:
After 2pm for all villas and cabins. From 1pm for powered and unpowered sites if site is available.
CHECK - OUT:
Before 10am on the day of your departure. An extended stay can often be arranged – just come and see us at reception before 10 am to check availability.
CONDUCT:
To ensure all our guests have a great holiday, please use consideration at all times throughout your stay. Excessive noise or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
EMERGENCY BELL:
This is located outside the front door of reception and is to be used for late arrivals and emergencies only. You can also call the park mobile phone on 02 7710 4000 if you prefer.
FOOD:
Food stored in communal kitchen is at your own risk. Please ensure all items are clearly marked with your name and departure date. The fridges will be cleared weekly and anything unmarked will be discarded.
MESSAGES:
Messages will be taken at reception and delivered to guests whenever possible.
NOISE:
Please be considerate of noise levels whilst staying within our park. Noise travels quite easily, so please keep this in mind and restrict noise between 10.30 pm and 7 am, when other guests may be sleeping.
PETS:
We accept up to two dogs on selected sites all year round, excluding Christmas/New Year Holidays, so why not bring your fur baby with you. Approval must be obtained prior to booking and the final decision is at the managers’ discretion. We do not charge extra for dogs, however; guests must comply with our dog-friendly policy Click here to book a dog-friendly site or for more information. If dogs are found in non dog-friendly rooms or sites you may be asked to leave or find an alternative for your dog. There will be no refund and an additional $300 cleaning fee for the room.
PLAYGROUND:
Children under 12 must be supervised at all times to ensure their safety. Playground hours vary depending on seasons.
SITES:
Caravans and Campervans must have a current electrical warrant of fitness and comply with LPG standards. If tenting, you must have connected a Residual Current Device (RCD). These are available for hire at reception if needed.
SAFETY:
Please drive at walking pace throughout our park (under 5km/hr). All roads within the park are shared zones, so please be aware of pedestrians.
SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS & BICYCLES:
The use of this equipment is allowed during daylight hours only and is limited to the flat areas of the park. Please keep your children from using skateboards & scooters on elevated areas as this can be quite dangerous. Please do not ride near the communal facilities. Helmets must be worn at all times and children under 12 must be supervised.
SMOKING:
Russell TOP 10 Holiday Park is NZ’s first SMOKE-FREE HOLIDAY PARK. Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere within the park boundary. If you are a smoker please ask reception for direction to our dedicated smoking area, opposite the park entrance.
GENERAL INFORMATION
BOAT WASHING & ENGINE FLUSHING:
All boat washing and engine flushing is to be conducted in the allocated boat wash area outside the park. Fish filleting is permitted at the fish filleting station. No boats to be parked at the fish filleting station except whilst washing boat or flushing engine.. Please refer to park map or ask reception for locations.
GAS BBQ:
Located outside the Camp Kitchen. Personal BBQ’s are not permitted on unit/cabin decks. No charcoal or open fires are permitted in the park.
KITCHEN/DINING/TV ROOM:
Automatic lights turn off at 10.30 pm.
LAUNDRY:
The first laundry is located at the men’s end of the shower/toilet block. The second laundry is located next to reception which is open during reception hours only. All washers & dryers operate with $2 coins – $4 per load. All machines require you have your own laundry detergent. This can be purchased from reception.
RUBBISH:
PLEASE RECYCLE – Recycle bins can be found at the northern end of the shower/toilet block, down near boat bays N,O,P and on the corner of Hillside Grove. For general waste, please use the bins provided throughout the park.
SHOWERS:
Our water comes from a natural spring and therefore we have timed showers. One press of the timer button will operate the shower for 5 minutes. After this time has ended there will be a 1 minute delay before a new shower can be started.
TELEPHONE:
A public card phone is located on Long Beach Road next to the park boundary.
WATER:
Our water is of excellent quality and is drinkable from all taps within the park. Please be mindful of water usage as we do not have town water supply in Russell. All water is supplied via a natural spring, which is a limited resource and needs to be conserved.
Wi-Fi:
Free Wi-fi is available throughout the park. Please ask our reception staff for the current password. Please note because we are in a hollow it can be intermittent.
