Park upgrades

Park upgrades

Villas - Our villas have had a variety of upgrades over the off-season including bedding, lounge room furniture, curtains and some flooring. We have also installed heat pumps in all self-contained accommodation so you can keep warm in winter and cool over the long, hot summer!

Cabins – Our cabins have had a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, new curtains and new beds. You will barely recognise them!

Sites – We have made upgrades to the drainage on the field sites, as well as undertaken extensive tree maintenance.

Camp kitchen – The camp kitchen has a new oven and new energy efficient LED lighting

Eastern gate – We have installed a gate at the eastern end of the campground - adjacent to site 140. This gate gives quicker access to the walking track to Long Beach. This gate is close to our neighbours - The Duffus Estate - so please be respectful of their peace and quiet when using the gate.

Defibrillator (AED) - We have installed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in the park. We hope it stays in mint condition - never having to be used - but in the case of an emergency you can find it adjacent to the eastern gate (near site 140).

We’ve completed a few upgrades!

Level 1: It's back to business as usual!

New Zealand has entered Level 1 travel protocols which essentially means "business as usual". Our international borders are still closed but New Zealanders and international travellers already in New Zealand are free to travel and enjoy this amazing country of ours!

We look forward to welcoming you at our park for some well-earned rest and relaxation (or adventure depending on what tickles your fancy)!
