Wow was this place a lovely surprise after a long day in the far north we called into this place as family were... holidaying here for school holidays.A friend if ours without a knowing thought it would be great for us to stay so paid for a nights stay for us.We stayed in unit 24 which had its own detached privates bathroom with shower excellent and wheelchair disability friendly.Our family if five stayed in this unit which was 2 BRM unit one room had queensize bed in it other had X2 singles and a bunk set.Very clean had everything you needed in full kitchen fridge freezer a decent good size unlike some places.Well done will so be back to stay excellent job.read more

Good to see dogs are allowed on the campsite and smokers are confined to a small area outside the camp. Strange that... the best view on the campsite is from the toilet block! Amazing view of sunset across the harbour.read more

Really lovely place to stay, especially over New Year's when there's lots of people around. The campsite is well looked... after, with ample space and facilities available. It's right near the center of Russell, so everything is within easy walking distance, including the wharf, shops and Duke of Marlborough hotel. Very secure and private whilst also maintaining a very family-friendly environment and some lovely semi-permanent residents in caravans on powered sites as well as a few fixed structure dwellingsread more

I love the place it had everything you could want but at $60 per night for One person in a small camper van it was way... overpriced maybe winter rates will be more reasonable but as I am 100% self-contained don't think I will use them againread more

Stayed at an unpowered site for four nights and are satisfied customers. Park is clean and you can’t beat the location; t... en minutes walking and you’re in town one direction and at a lovely swimming beach the other.Perks: Strong unlimited wifi throughout the park; plenty of laundry machines and three clothes lines; large kitchen with ample cook tops and sinks, soap and dish towels provided; Loved the covered patio off the kitchen, great for alfresco dining and watching the sunset.Only one complaint —wish there was better night lighting from the unpowered sites to the bathroom. Definitely need a torch once the sun sets.Lots of steps and uneven pavement around the facilities so probably not good for anyone camping with disabilities.read more

The best caravan park we have ever stayed in, and that's saying something as seasoned campers. Stayed on the top level... overlooking to park, Russell township & bay over to Paihia. The sunsets were magical, as was the view we woke up to. Amenities clean & comfortable, gardens stunning, lush & immaculately kept. I like how the layout of the park meant families with kids were on ground level while couples were elevated with quiet & views. Highly recommend.read more
